Instagram is home to countless dog and cat stars, but horses rarely find social media fame… and then there’s a stunning Haflinger called Storm. Its owner Naomi Beckers is based in the Netherlands and she’s constantly sharing photos of her horse that look straight out of a fairy tale.
Beckers was a busy student and hair salon owner before Storm entered the picture, but she’s been dreaming about having a horse long before they met. It was her biggest dream to have her own horse because she always felt at home amongst these gracious animals.
Her dream finally came true when Storm’s previous owner decided to let her go. She was drawn to her beauty, especially her luscious golden mane, which surprisingly enough resembled her own and earned Storm the nickname “Rapunzel”.
Storm already had quite a fan base when Beckers bought her. She decide to start an Instagram page to share her photos, but she didn’t expect it would blow up and attract over 50,000 followers.
“I was planning to put a few pictures on there and I expected it to be done by then, but people kept asking when I was going to post a picture again. So it actually got a bit out of hand, but I really like that it has grown that way!” Beckers told Bit Magazine.
