Disney left us with a lot of unanswered questions, so I am here to fill in the gaps, and give you updates on what some of our favorite childhood princesses are doing now.”
In Steph’s imaginary world, Snow White is doing house chores, Elsa is eating for two, Alice is all about the coffee and Rapunzel is mastering Sunday morning pancakes.

]]>Melody Ricketts is an actress and singer with a passion for Broadway musical theatre. She’s also a Party Princess. The LA-based artist makes her living hosting birthday parties dressed like Disney characters. She arrives at the party, plays with the kids and sings to them. That may sound like a dream job, but don’t be fooled – it’s extremely demanding, easy to mess up, and requires real commitment!
Melody’s birthday routine starts early in the morning, the day of the party. First thing in the morning, she starts planning and applying her makeup. Though each princess has her own look, Melody likes to experiment and play with different eyeshadows and colors. Then comes the dress – usually involving a huge circular skirt and a tight corset – and finally, the wig.
When Melody arrives at the party, she has to really show up. The kids see her as a Disney princess, so she has to play the part, even if the kids don’t behave well, even if it hot and she’s tired. But Melody is completely dedicated to her job and the children. She’ll do anything to make the Disney magic come alive for them.

]]>This time, Russian artist Artemii Myasnikov transforms Disney princesses into brave warriors and they really look like some badass fighters.
“One night I was watching the “Disenchantment” series with my wife and we started a discussion on what we like/dislike about the main character,” he told Bored Panda about how this idea came about. “One of the things we both liked is how wasn’t a damsel in distress, unlike most of the princesses in Disney movies.”
He continued, “I immediately wanted to draw a Snow White (because to me she’s the most damsel-in-distress-y princess ever) that would be armed, dangerous, and in charge of her own fate. That’s how the sequence started.”
Myasnikov is a full-time artist and works as an art director in a game studio, and he regularly shared his artworks on his Instagram account. “I draw girls, strange creatures, and techno stuff, that fully describes my favorite themes,” he shared. “Growing up, I was into Gen 13, all of the Mike Mignola stuff, DC and Marvel comic series (As a child, I was a die-hard fan of X-men series), Mulan, The Transformers, Exosquad, The Animatrics…”
