]]>“To me, completing a piece of work is not about how much detail I draw, but whether I feel the life in the stone,” Nakata said in an interview with My Modern Met.
Nakata has already painted half of the animal kingdom. From cats, crocodiles, polar bears, mom and baby elephant to a family of opossum, her works are extremely lifelike. She first paints the body of the animal, and lastly, she does the eyes. When the eyes have been painted, her work is done.
