]]>Ahpornsiri is based in East Sussex, and she’s been growing and collecting flora, foliage, and seaweed for years. She uses traditional flower pressing methods to preserve them and then breathes new life into them by arranging them into mosaic-like artworks.
Since she’s working with natural materials, usually fern, wildflower, and seaweed, Ahpornsiri puts a lot of effort into contributing more than she takes, often collecting small specimens from abundant species and growing her own plants.
“Flowers commonly considered weeds are unassuming yet familiar, they can be embued in folk tales and personal connotations which resonate with people in different ways. I’m interested in the idea of preserving plants like these and giving them a new narrative,” explains Ahpornsiri on her official website.
Ahpornsiri’s creations come in all shapes and forms, but she’s mostly inspired by the animal kingdom. We’ve seen her arrange her pressed flowers into everything from birds and bees to elephants and peacocks, masterfully embodying the energy of each animal she chooses.

]]>The Boston-based artist of Ukrainian descent has been working with resin all the way since 2010. She describes it as a “quite difficult viscous material”, but that didn’t stop her from perfecting her technique and developing her unique style, becoming one of the first resin floral artists to do so.
“I’m proud to be one of the first artists that have created the ‘flowers in resin’ trend. I’m obsessed with the quality of my products and meticulously still make every piece by hand. It’s important for me to produce good long-lasting quality pieces that can be enjoyed for years of wearing without losing its original beauty,” explains Anastasia on her official website.
Anastasia initially pressed flowers to preserve her collection of botanical finds, but she now uses them to create all sorts of dreamy objects.
