]]> Glee may have been filmed in America, but a South African school is giving those singing high schoolers a run for their money.

Students from the Rustenberg High School Choir chose to do a tribute to Queen frontman, Freddie Mercury, by performing one of the band’s best known songs — “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

The rendition was arranged by choirmaster, Ralph Schmitt, who recently appeared on America’s Got Talent with the Ndlovu Youth Choir.

The video was posted to the school’s Facebook page and amassed nearly half a million views in a little over a day, and was shared over 20,000 times.

“The young singers from Rustenburg High School / Hoërskool Rustenburg pay tribute to #FreddieMercury, one of Africa’s favourite sons. They have given the Queen hit #BohemianRhapsody – the greatest song of all time – their very own unique choral interpretation,” stated the video’s caption.

They definitely rocked us!
