Instagram is home to so many amazing food artists that you have to do something truly amazing and out of the box to make your mark—and Brittany Boyer is doing just that! Her page Brittany May Cakes became a huge hit thanks to her colorful, dreamy, and extravagant sweet creations.
Since starting her Instagram page, Boyer attracted over 200,000 followers with her delicious treats – and she did it all on her own. Her cakes look like they were made by a true pro, but it turns out she’s actually a self-taught baker who specializes in vegan buttercream cakes.
To make the whole thing even better, most of the ingredients she uses to make her cakes come to life are vegan, with the exception of sprinkles. She often uses them to decorate her creations, together with Oreos, marshmallows, candy canes, fresh fruits, and so much more.
Picture-perfect, intricately decorated cakes are obviously Boyer’s specialty, but they’re not the only type of dessert she enjoys making. Her cupcakes are also a feast for the eyes and we’re pretty sure they taste as delicious as they look.
