Two French artists who work under the brand Zim&Zou create whimsical paper art that we fell in love with at first sight. “The duo is composed of Lucie Thomas, born in the Vosges in 1987, and Thibault Zimmermann, born in Paris in 1986. They studied graphic design (design, publishing, advertising) during three years,” we read on their website.
Besides paper, they like to use other tangible materials like wood and thread. However, paper is their favorite and there’s no limit in what they can do with it. The skilled pair manages to turn flat paper into versatile voluminous installations that tell stories.
