Grandpa Makes a Vacation Movie for Granddaughter Using Peppa Pig Toys

When David Zielke arrived on his 10-day vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and started unpacking, he noticed something strange; he had some of his granddaughter Lisette’s “Peppa Pig” toys in his luggage. It turned out that the five-year-old slipped them in while he was not looking, wanting her presence to be felt since she couldn’t come along.

Touched by Lisette picking him to be the one carrying her toys on an adventure, Zielke decided to do something special for her. He carried the toys everywhere and recorded them “having” the time of their lives in order to make a vacation movie. The Peppa Pig toys, based on the popular English animated series of the same name, went for a swim in the pool, got some sun tan, and had some great food at a fancy restaurant.

While Zielke was doing his director’s works, his daughter Tanya, who is Lisette’s aunt, filmed him and later shared the footage on her TikTok. The clip became viral, with social media loving the grandpa’s idea.

“My dad is a goofball, and he doesn’t care what people think of him,” Tanya told Today after the video went viral. “He had no shame in pulling out those toys.”

The vacation movie that Zielke made later premiered on Tanya’s YouTube channel and came with Lisette’s reaction, making it a must-watch. Check it out below.
