Personal Jewelry Has Never Been Trendier and Here’s Where to Get It

Be it a finishing touch on a look or a statement piece that draws all the attention to itself, jewelry is fashion’s ultimate partner. After a year of lockdown, this summer has seen a surge in jewelry shopping with shoppers looking for that extra something to make their outfit really pop. One trend that seems to be growing strong these past months is customized jewelry. From repping your astrological sign to wearing your initials, personalized jewelry puts on emphasis on what really counts when it comes to fashion—self expression that is.

But purchasing a custom piece can come at a hefty price. Luckily for us, Etsy has come once again for the rescue. One small Etsy brand to look out for is EVREN. Run by Vancouver-based designer Sabrina Caldwell, the brand caters to the modern woman who knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to ask for it.

Part of Caldwell’s philosophy is that luxury shouldn’t be saved for a chosen few, but rather be incorporated into our day to day. As such, her jewelry pieces are fairly priced, without compromising on quality. EVREN pieces are carefully handcrafted and come in a range of styles, from classic options like initial tag necklaces to trendier pieces that include a 90s Ying and Yang necklace and chunky pearl earrings.

“I get a lot of inspiration from current trends, so we do offer trendy styles,” Caldwell shared in an interview with the Etsy blog. “But those can always be layered with timeless, classic pieces, like our custom name necklaces.”

Her favorite pieces? More simple and minimal items that can be layered and mixed easily. “I’ve noticed people enjoy ordering personalized pendants that they can add to a chain they already have at home,” says Caldwell. “Customers are also personalizing necklace stacks.”

Naturally, these pieces also make for the ideal gift. Scroll down to see some of our very favorites, and visit EVREN’s shop for more.
