]]>Before starting to embroider custom-made portraits for other people, she kicked things off by making a portrait of her own cat Athena. The gray and fluffy feline reminded her of an old lady, and that’s why she decided to immortalize her with a portrait that shows her wearing a tiny hat and purple outfit, with a bunch of forget-me-nots stuck in between.
This portrait turned out to be a huge hit for Amberry Lamb, and many people asked her to turn their own pets into unique heroes in their own embroidery stories.
“Every pet is loved and unique. I do embroidery based on a photo of a pet and come up with a costume… Every pet owner can tell hundreds of interesting stories related to his pet. There is a lot of love and friendship in these stories. It’s very inspiring,” she writes on Behance.
In addition to creating pet portraits, Amberry Lamb enjoys expiring many other themes through her embroidery, often concerning nature. She’s also a skilled illustrator and painter, and her art will welcome you into the imaginary world of Amberry Forrest.

]]>“I was always interested in different types of needlework, but I had enough time only to create gifts for family and friends. It was embroidered ribbons and crosses, watercolor pictures, sewing toys, and frameless chairs,” Karavai shared in a statement on Etsy.
After working many years in a wedding salon and giving birth to her second child, Karavai wanted to do something different. That’s when she discovered wool painting.
“Using only wool and not a drop of glue, for five years, I have been helping people keep fond memories of their pets. First, I did the paintings for himself, then for friends, and after came the first order… And here I’m still in this process,” she added.
The artist also has an Instagram account where she posts images of her creations and an Etsy store where she shares her creativity, and if you want to decorate your home with one of her works, check her out, because “I put in my paintings a part of myself and my soul.”
