Jeff Victor is a talented artist who worked for major companies including Hasbro, WB, CN, Nickelodeon, Netflix, and others. Based in Los Angeles, he is best known for his illustrations of pop culture figures, to whom he gives hilarious makeovers.

Victor named his newest series Mini Evolution, which showcases our most-liked characters going through personal growth. It is part of his regular Evolution series, but with a before-and-after format.

“Sometimes it is a superhero, and their alter ego, and other times, like in the case of Godzilla vs. King Kong, it is showing the contrast between two different versions of the same characters. It is just me having fun, expressing my love of films and comics while stretching my character design muscles,” the artist shared in a statement with Bored Panda.

Scrolling through his Instagram page, you will encounter over 1,000 posts, mostly illustrations, followed by more than 125,000 followers.

Cookie Monster, Wonder Woman, and Maleficent are just some of the characters that are depicted in Victor’s outstanding artwork. If you’re into movies, music, or other types of pop culture figures, keep scrolling! We’re sure that you’ll love Victor’s cute illustrations.

Andry ‘Shango’ Rajoelina is a gifted French illustrator, character, and color artist best-known for depicting famous characters and their metaphorical families. He explains that the “parents” of the family represent the oldest or the wisest characters, while the rest are turned into children.

However, according to his statement given for Bored Panda, the artist does not randomly choose the “family” he’ll illustrate next: “What I find interesting with this series is to find the right characters who could be represented as a family, find the right bond between them,” he said.

“I won’t stop finding new Super Families. I have plenty more of them in mind, I just need to find the time to work on them between work and taking care of my very own Super Family.”

The Ninjas Family, Pocket Family, Middle-Earth Family, Hyrule Family, and the Neighbour Family are just some of the characters Rajoelina has chosen to illustrate.

Outside of his Instagram account where he has 5,000 followers, the artist has an online shop where you can find his other creations as well.

Francois Xavier Dongu, aka EFIX, is a France-based street artist and musician who is on a mission to bring some “life” to streets of the cities he lives in or visits. EFIX does intriguing interventions on the urban environment introducing the passerby with various pop culture characters.

EFIX manages to find the perfect spots for his works, making it seem like the characters from Disney movies, animated TV shows, and superhero comics are interacting with the world that surrounds them.  This also makes unappealing urban elements more fun.

“Wherever you see a pipe, I’ll see a saxophone, an elephant trunk or a cactus,” EFIX explained in his recent chat with Fubiz.

Dave Pollot is an artist with a very creative mind and a passion for thrifted old paintings. Using these paintings as backdrops, he transforms them into pop culture masterpieces. His project started as a joke between him and his wife back in 2012, and has since become a full-blown obsession, incorporating iconic characters into discarded pieces of art.

“I’ve always loved the idea that art is deeply personal,” Pollot shared on his personal website. “I’m telling my own story with each piece, but every one is a little bit like a mirror, reflecting its meaning back to the viewer through his or her individual perception.”

The New York-based artist added that every piece is unique and challenging in its own way. “Each new piece presents a new set of challenges, and learning to work in a variety of styles and master new techniques has kept my attention,” he further explained. “It’s also an interesting challenge to develop a narrative and tell a story with a painting – the backgrounds provide the framework I use to build a story.”
