]]>With restaurants starting to open under certain restrictions, a cafe in Schwerin called Café Rothe Schwerin reopened by serving its customers outside. They made sure to place tables 1.5 m (4.9 feet) to keep distance between their customers.
The owner of the cafe, Jacqueline Rothe, took the extra step and came up with the creative idea to make sure customers keep their distance—pool noodles! The restaurant is attaching pool noodles to its customers’ hats to help them keep their social distances.
When Bored Panda reached out to Rothe, they said this was a one-time event just for the reopening of the cafe and that the guests won’t be regularly wearing the hats. Here’s to hoping this event continues because we love the amazing pictures!

]]>One restaurant, a Vietnamese place in Thailand, is among those that has reopened and they’ve come up with the perfect solution to keep their customers apart—pandas!
Maison Saigon placed plush pandas in the restaurant, to maintain that people sit at safe distances. Also, if you’re worried about eating alone, you’ll have a cute little panda as your company. The rules and regulations are changing daily and to be safe, sometimes you just have to get creative. These pandas are an adorable way to make sure everyone is protected from the virus.
