Simon Brown, the needle felt artist from a small village on the Northumbrian coast in the UK found a way to provide useless old brushes a chance to have a new life as the amazing artworks.

Namely, Simon’s art project is to find the old, beaten up, heavily used brushes that nobody would spend too much time looking at and use them as an unusual foundation for the artworks which tell the stories of the tiny wool photo–realistic animals.

Simon’s artworks mostly present the scenes of some animals who are in the middle of life–threatening situations and you can feel that there’s a deep meaning behind each of these pieces of art.

You can find originality and uniqueness inside every detail of Simon’s artworks and they’re not only inspiring for artists, but for all the people who search for some deeper content in every segment of their lives.

These old brushes are only there to attract your attention at first glance, but once you start looking carefully, every single thing on that brush is quite amazing when it comes to the artist’s technical skills, and when it comes to the meaning of the artwork, you’ll also be far from disappointed.
