Aakanksha Monga Left Her Job at LinkedIn to Travel the World

You sometimes need to leave it all behind to achieve your biggest dream, and that’s exactly what Aakanksha Monga decided to do. She left her desk job at LinekdIn behind and embarked on a journey around the world, visiting 12 countries in a single year.

Monga switched between several corporate jobs before working as a creator manager associate at LinkedIn. She didn’t stick around at this company for too long because she decided to leave it all behind in June last year and become a full-time travel blogger.

Monga already had a pretty impressive following at the time, with 250,000 paying a close eye on her travel stories, but her fan base significantly grew over the past year, to over 600,000 Instagram followers.

Monga created quite a splash with her offbeat videos and budget-friendly tips and tricks, and she’s always on the lookout for new adventures and off-beat destinations.

“I believe that travel is about immersing yourself in new cultures and experiences, and I’m always excited to discover the next hidden gem. Through my travels, I hope to inspire others to step outside their comfort zone and motivate women to break the invisible barriers that surround us,” she explained on her LinkedIn page.
