Instagram is home to more viral pages dedicated to macarons than we can count, but some of them still rise above the rest. That’s certainly the case with Amaro Macarons, and the thing we like the most about them is the fact that they’re more than just a dessert.
Like every other business of its kind, Amaro has classic macarons in store, but this French confectionary isn’t their signature product. They’re best known for their fluffy, pastel-colored alphabet cakes, decorated with many delicious toppings—which include their incredible macarons.
This brand was started in 2012 by foodie Fernanda, who fell in love with baking thanks to her mom and grandma. Like many people who are new to macarons, she started this journey by using Ladurée’s signature recipe, but she eventually ended up creating her own after making a number of changes to the original instructions.
Thanks to her unique approach, Amaro Macarons became a huge hit on Instagram, with her amassing almost 50,000 followers so far. Their macaron cakes look truly extravagant and delicious, and they’re a perfect fit for special occasions, especially birthdays and anniversaries.
