โ€œWhile most people are asleep, I find something very exciting about being awake. The night is quiet and still, and much like my thoughts, this inspires curious and mysterious urban stories out there,โ€ Liang said in an interview for Paper Darts.

First, she uses kraft paper cutouts and hand-drawn illustrations from her sketchbook, which she later transfers to a digital platform such as Photoshop or After Effects. Then she creates a collage and animates it, creating beautiful moving scenes.
