Rachael Cassiani is an artist who loves to create art inspired by her homeland. The Massachusetts-based Cassiani transfers the beautiful sandy cliffs, shorelines, and blue skies of her local beaches onto a small canvas. She captures the enchanting and peaceful nature.
“I have always used art as a form of therapy,” Cassiani told My Modern Met. “My process on each painting starts with a photo that I take while outside on trails, beaches, fields, etc. Shortly after I gather my inspiration, I sketch my idea onto a blank canvas, followed by picking a color scheme that is usually quite vibrant.”
You can find her creations on her social media, Instagram account called rachael_mc_ where she shares some of her art pieces. With her talent, she has managed to gather a following of over 48.7 thousand followers.
