Since COVID-19 hit our world, we really needed things that would bring smiles to our faces. And that is what Greek illustrator Teo Zirinis wants to achieve with his illustrations. Also known as Hands Off My Dinosaur on social media, the artist reached more than 181,000 Instagram followers. This time, we present to you a collection of images inspired by the solar system.
“Space and our Solar System have always fascinated me, and it’s been a recurring theme in many of my comics,” the artist shared on Bored Panda. “I like to draw inspiration from our Earth, Mars, and other planets, but also from the Moon, stars, and even UFOs. Imagining these celestial bodies in weird, improbable, sometimes relatable situations is so much fun and is one of my favorite things to illustrate.”
Besides imaging the planets in his own way, the artist is into drawing “silly visual puns and look at things from a quirky perspective”.
