Fashion can truly have magical power, and Sabrina Ulbrich seems to agree. The founder of the fashion brand Ausgefuchst Art specializes in creating elf ears, ornate tiaras, and other whimsical ornaments that will transport you to your favorite fairy tale.
Ulbrich has been fascinated by magical beings for as long as she can remember, and she decided to put them front and center in her work. Once she started designing jewelry, she realized she could combine her newfound passion with her love for myth, legends, and mythical creatures.
She started her own brand and decided to name it Ausgefuchst Art, after the German word which can be translated as cunning, crafty, and foxy. Foxes always held a special place in her heart and she considers them her soul animal, so she felt this name was fitting.
Ulbrich rose to prominence with her elf ears and fairy-oriented jewelry, and they remain the focal point of her work to this day.
“Inspired by nature, mythical creatures, poetry, and the works of Froud, new ideas for my small works of art are constantly emerging. I have the wonderful idea of spreading a little more magic in this world and letting you participate in my magical world,” she explains on her Etsy page.
