As hard as you try, it’s not easy to imagine how people lived a century ago. It gets much easier with documented footage, but it’s often blurry and low-quality because they didn’t have HD cameras back then. However, there are people who do their best to bring the past closer to us, and one of them is video editor Denis Shiryaev.
Shiryaev used the footage previously published by the Swedish team from Svenska Biografteatern, edited it to show color, boosted to 4k resolution, and tweaked a bit more so we can see how people in the New York City lived in 1911.
