Brad Pitt Has His First Ever Sculpture Exhibition

You may know Brad Pitt as one of the biggest Hollywood celebs and the star of movies like Fight Club, Troy, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. But did you also know that he’s a talented sculptor?

Pitt recently made a debut as an exhibiting artist, unveiling nine of his sculptures in the Sara Hilden Art Museum in Tampere, Finland. Alongside his plaster and bronze creations, museum visitors can also check out works of British contemporary artist Thomas Houseago and ceramic series by Australian music star Nick Cave as part of the exhibition called “We.” The collection is also the first time Cave is showing his artworks to the public in this way.

The joint exhibit of Houseago, Pitt, and Cave will be on display at Sara Hilden Art Museum until January 15, 2023.

Speaking about his debut as a sculptor, Pitt said that the moment felt right to reveal his works to the world.

“For Nick and I, this is a new world and our first entry. It just feels right,” said Pitt at the opening of the exhibit.

Among Pitt’s exhibited works are a house sculpture built out of scraps, several silicon pieces pierced by bullets called “Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound to the House,” and interesting artwork called “Aiming At You I Saw Me But It Was Too Late This Time” that depicts a gunfight.
