Brazilian Artist Makes Beautiful Embroidery You Should Check Out

Brazilian embroidery artist Ana Clara Piccolo began her journey back in 2016 when she moved to Stuttgart, Germany. Not knowing the language and taking part only in German classes, Piccolo decided she would try something creative. That is when she bought basic materials and started watching YouTube tutorials on how to learn some stitches.

Having an artistic background, it was more than obvious that she would follow the path of her family. She graduated in Visual Arts back in Brazil, and after graduation, together with some friends she created an artistic collective.

“For the custom orders, I develop designs based on customers’ requests. My creative process starts with the story the client tells me, his/her wishes and preferences, etc,” she said in an interview for Embellished Talk. “For my original creations, it works differently because it always starts with my inspirations. Things that I am attached or fond of.”

Now her hobby is her full-time job, and Piccolo is more than happy. There isn’t a better feeling than doing something you love and being rewarded.
