Genie Espinosa has been a passionate illustrator her entire life. Based in Barcelona, Espinosa started her artistic journey when she was a little girl drawing Disney characters and The Pink Panther. She currently creates digital art, because she can “amend everything endless times,” however, she likes doing loose sketches, as well.
She begins her artistic process with a cup of coffee and mostly gets inspired by movies, music, and comics.
“I think seeing all this beautiful work on every medium would inevitably impact on your head and change something, then the result will vary every time a project is finished,” the artist said in an interview for Ballpit. “I am a true workaholic, so this job is the thing I like the most, I never get tired of it, I can spend all day working and then go out and start talking about it, I have amazingly talented friends who are in this profession too, that’s a blessing!”
