Remember the 1989 comedy movie Look Who’s Talking? While not a big hit among critics, it was a fan favorite thanks to the fact that it starred a baby that provided voice-over commentary about its life. Sure, sounds silly, but it results in some great comedy.
Inspired by the movie, TikTok user King Keraun recently decided to try making something similar to entertain his social media followers. Keraun took his son to the mall for the first time and then narrated the whole experience as if the kid’s inner thoughts could talk. And as you might guess, it turned out amazing.
“My dad took me to the mall so that I could be stimulated because he says I’m a Covid baby and I need to see the world,” Keraun starts his voice-over.
Keraun continued doing a great job of capturing his son’s excitement, curiosity, and confusion about the things that surround him. The video quickly became viral, amassing close to 15 million views in a matter of days.
When reached out to by Today, Keraun said that he was surprised by the overwhelmingly positive reactions to his video. He is now thinking about turning it into a series and eyeing Chuck E. Cheese for the next installment.
