Greg Gutfeld, 60, and his wife, Elena Moussa, 42, are celebrating a significant milestone—welcoming their first child, a baby girl. The Fox News host, known for his sharp political commentary on The Five and his late-night talk show Gutfeld!, shared the joyful news during the “One More Thing” segment of The Five on December 9.

Welcoming Baby Mira

In a statement read by Dana Perino, Gutfeld expressed his excitement and gratitude, saying, “It’s with great joy that my wife Elena and I have welcomed a baby girl into the world.” He added a touch of humor, noting that “Mira is healthy with a real set of lungs. She has Elena’s beautiful eyes and my hard-rock abs,” in a playful reference to his own physique. “We are hard at work teaching her three languages and putting her through a rigorous workout routine,” he continued humorously. The announcement came as a surprise to many, especially after rumors circulated about Gutfeld’s recent absence from the show, with some speculating about his departure from the network. The host clarified that his time away was due to his new role as a father, not a firing.

Who is Elena Moussa?

Moussa, a Russian-born fashion stylist who has worked with high-profile brands such as L’Officiel and Design Scene, also expressed her joy over the birth of their daughter. The couple, who met in 2004 while Gutfeld was on a work trip in Portugal, have always kept their personal lives private, rarely sharing details about their marriage or family life with the public. Despite their preference for privacy, they shared this special moment with fans, who have been sending their well-wishes.

This news also sheds light on Gutfeld’s long-standing marriage to Moussa. After a whirlwind romance that began with their meeting in Portugal in 2004, the couple married in a civil ceremony just five months later. Over the years, the pair have shared glimpses of their life together, including their adoption of a French Bulldog named Gus in 2022. Gutfeld also referenced Gus in his statement, quipping that he needed to go and stop Gus from licking baby Mira’s face!

In his statement, Gutfeld also emphasized the importance of their privacy during this special time. “As you can understand, we value our privacy and thank everyone for the good wishes,” he said, thanking fans for respecting their personal space during this joyful transition. As the couple begins this new chapter, they join a growing number of public figures who have chosen to keep their family lives out of the spotlight while celebrating their new arrivals with the world.
