Spanish illustrator Helena Perez Garcia’s art looks like something out of a dream. Her vibrant art often looks surreal and features plants, flowers, and animals, but it mostly revolves around the topic of human emotions. Each of her illustrations represents her emotions and thoughts in different stages of life. Her beautiful artistic style helps her finished illustrations achieve a magical effect.
“Her illustrations are conceptual, whimsical and rich in detail and colour. Helena’s primary medium is gouache and her main sources of inspiration are art, literature, and cinema,” Garcia’s website reads.
Garcia finds inspiration in her favorite movies, books, and art. After completing a Fine Arts Degree in Spain in 2012, she moved to London. In 2018, she relocated to Madrid where she currently lives. You can see her art below and more on her Instagram.
