Many travel bloggers make it seem like traveling the world is a luxury that’s very difficult to afford—and then there’s Helene Sula! The mastermind behind travel blog Helene in Between is presenting travel in a funny and attainable way in her viral videos.
Sula is followed by over 200,000 on both TikTok and Instagram and her videos on both platforms have been seen by millions of people. She’s been running her blog for about a decade now, and it all started with a rock climbing accident in 2012 that left her in bed for weeks and forever changed her life.
“I started this blog after I fell rock climbing. It was just for fun. And then, it became sort of my life. It’s allowed me to make this my job, to move abroad, to travel, to write, and even work with my husband,” explained Sula on her blog.
She moved back and forth between Germany and Dallas during her time as a blogger, and some of her most popular videos capture the cultural shock of living in Europe as an American. She’s running her blog and traveling the world with her husband Michael, often sharing useful tricks and tips that will make your next trip easier and more fun.
