Proud father Dave started drawing creative cartoons and jokes on his kids’ sandwich bags once his first daughter started school. It didn’t take long before this became their daily tradition and a huge hit in his daughter’s classroom. It’s now been years since he started doing it and it’s still just as fun as it was in the beginning!
“2020 has been a long and difficult year, but it has been particularly challenging for my 3 daughters who have had to endure my seemingly endless supply of dad jokes and bad pun cartoons on their school lunch bags,” he tells Bored Panda.
These days, he has three bags to draw on each day—one for each of his daughters. He only got a small break when they started going to school remotely, but it’s still a cherished tradition in their household. Dave finds inspiration in many places: the news, his kids, outside.
