Actress and entrepreneur Jessica Alba and her husband, film producer Cash Warren, have separated after 16 years of marriage, as reported by People. An exclusive TMZ report has confirmed the two are moving forward with divorce.

Recent observations have fueled speculation about the couple’s relationship status. According to the New York Post, Alba was seen without her wedding ring at a pre-Golden Globes party and during a dinner in Rome. Similarly, Warren appeared ringless in Los Angeles. Additionally, Alba’s New Year’s Eve social media post did not feature Warren, further igniting rumors of a split.

Despite the separation, sources indicate that Alba and Warren remain amicable and are committed to co-parenting their three children: Honor, 16; Haven, 13; and Hayes, 7.

Alba and Warren met in 2004 on the set of Fantastic Four, where she portrayed Sue Storm and he was an assistant to the director. They married in May 2008 and have since been known for their strong partnership, both personally and professionally. Alba is the founder of The Honest Company, a consumer goods company, while Warren co-founded the brand Pair of Thieves.

In a candid interview with People in September 2021, Alba opened up about the challenges of balancing her career, parenting, and marriage. She shared that over the years, both she and her husband, Cash Warren, had different needs. “At different times, there were different things that we needed. Around the time I had the kids, it was like, ‘I need [date night] once a week.’ And he’s been like, ‘I need you to be present on the weekends and not work,'” Alba explained. To navigate their differences, the couple would often “over-communicate what’s happening before it gets to the point of no return.” Reflecting on their relationship, the actress laughed as she admitted, “It’s all rosy for two and a half years. But then after that, you become roommates. You’re just going through the motions. You have the responsibilities; it’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes, right?”

In recent months, both Alba and Warren have attended events separately, with Alba making solo appearances at various functions. Despite these individual outings, they have continued to share family moments on social media, suggesting a cooperative approach to their separation. For example, the couple came together to celebrate their son Hayes’ 7th birthday earlier in January.

As of now, neither Alba nor Warren have publicly commented on the separation. The couple’s focus remains on their children and maintaining a positive co-parenting relationship. Further details are expected to emerge as the divorce proceedings progress.
