Supermodel Kate Moss is set to launch an exclusive capsule collection with fashion retailer Zara on November 30. The autumn-winter 2024/2025 collection will feature 40 pieces and is inspired by Moss’s most unforgettable looks, blending her current style with that of her early modeling career in the 1990s.

Described as a “party capsule”, the collection was designed by Kate Moss in collaboration with her longtime stylist Katy England, who is known for her extensive work with Alexander McQueen. The collaboration aims to create the perfect wardrobe for the holiday season, offering a mix of classic cuts and glamour that reflect Moss’s iconic style.

“I wanted to create the perfect party capsule—effortlessly chic but with an edge,” Kate Moss said. “A perfect capsule for the parties: effortless chic pieces, but with a little something extra,” she added, describing the collection as suitable for events, as The Scottish Sun reported.

The collection features a range of ready-to-wear pieces and accessories intended for a big night out, focusing on garments that can live beyond events and celebrations. It includes tailored suits with clean cuts that evoke power and elegance, long structured coats that recall 1990s glamour, and dresses that combine fluidity with fitted silhouettes.

Some designs are directly inspired by pieces from Moss’s own wardrobe, blending her most iconic looks with elements from her cherished archives. “Kate Moss has not lied: she has dug into her archives, and several pieces in the collection are directly inspired by her own wardrobe,” Vogue Spain reported.

Among the dresses, a creation with ruffles, an asymmetrical slit, and a floral print immediately attracts attention, reflecting the season’s boho-chic mood. Another standout piece is a grey minidress that can be worn with boots or heels, as well as a shiny ’90s disco minidress made of silver-gray lamé, perfect for any Christmas party. “The minidress is made of silver-gray lamé, has long sleeves and a boxy neckline, and wearing it will make you the queen of the dance floor without a doubt,” reported El Mundo.

The collection also includes a blazer jacket in leopard print, a staple in Moss’s wardrobe that she never abandons, which can be worn over any outfit, both during the day and for parties. The leopard-print jacket is tipped to be a sell-out, featuring Kate Moss’s favorite leopard print, a quintessential motif throughout the collection.

Kate Moss revisits her iconic look from the Glastonbury Festival in 2005, where she made history with an outfit consisting of shorts, Hunter rain boots, a vest, a hip belt, and a crossbody bag. This look has inspired designs in her collection, blending festival chic with high fashion.

Footwear in the collection includes ankle boots with heels and laces at the back, with a cabaret-like air, suitable to wear with pants or skirts, and on all occasions. “Kate Moss’s favorite footwear, except for the mentioned Hunter rain boots, are ankle boots with heels and laces at the back,” noted El Mundo.

The collection aims to be versatile, wearable, and transgenerational, leveraging Moss’s knowledge accumulated over her life at the highest level of fashion, always with an eye on the street. It includes jackets remodeled for modern relevance, as well as coats, shoes, and accessories that tell stories of the night, drawing from her years of excellence in British fashion.

Kate Moss cited 1970s icons Charlotte Rampling and Lauren Hutton, Studio 54, and Led Zeppelin as sources of inspiration for the collection, reflecting her experiences in the late-night party scene. One of the standout pieces is a laser-cut dress in cream and black, cut on the bias with personal detailing. Moss described this design as “The cut-out dress with diamond straps is so Studio 54,” according to El Diario Montas.

The campaign for the collection has been captured by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, with whom Moss has worked for 25 years. She stars in the campaign, styled by Katy England, showcasing the essence of her unique and personal style.

Fashion fans have already expressed excitement about the upcoming launch. “Some fashion fans have already set their sights on certain items from this collection, similar to the excitement generated during her previous collaborations,” reported The Scottish Sun. One fan commented, “Topshop 2.0,” noting the resemblance to her previous work.

The collaboration between Zara and Kate Moss is expected to be one of the most spectacular from Zara to date. “The collection is promised to be one of the most spectacular from Zara to date, and is expected to see similar success to previous collaborations,” stated El Correo. In 2007, Moss debuted a collaboration with Topshop, which was a sales success, and the buzz surrounding her new collection with Zara is reminiscent of that launch.

However, not all reactions have been positive. Fashion designer and stylist Kelsey Randall criticized the collection, branding it “poorly made designer knock-offs,” as The Scottish Sun reported. Despite this, many fans are eagerly anticipating the launch.

Kate Moss has combined her years of excellence in British fashion to create a wardrobe she most wants to wear this season, featuring classic pieces that will last more than one party season. The collection includes pieces such as a satin blazer that can be worn to shine at the office or during New Year’s celebrations. Prices in the Zara x Kate Moss collection start from £17.99 ($23), with items such as blouses priced at £59.99 ($76)and skirts at £69.99 ($89).

The collaboration is part of Zara’s strategy to create unexpected alliances with relevant and powerful figures in the fashion industry. Under the direction of Marta Ortega, Zara has worked with stylist Harry Lambert and designer Narciso Rodríguez. “Marta Ortega has used her connections to recruit relevant and powerful figures such as stylist Harry Lambert and American designer Narciso Rodríguez,” reported El Correo.

For the first time in over a decade, Kate Moss makes her unparalleled elegant and liberated taste accessible to customers, proving once again why she remains the undisputed queen of cool. The collection captures the essence of Moss’s unique and personal style, blending her most iconic looks with modern relevance. “Each piece in the collection is designed to be special and can be said to be an extension of the style that helped make Kate Moss a fashion icon,” stated ¡HOLA!

“True to herself and her passions, the collection is a bit disco and a bit rock ‘n’ roll,” reported El Diario Montas. It includes references to Moss’s most iconic looks, including the metallic slip dress she wore in the 1990s, and a black vinyl minicoat with a wide belt and structured shoulders, embodying ’90s style.

As the launch date approaches, anticipation continues to build among fashion enthusiasts worldwide. The exclusive capsule collection by Kate Moss and Zara promises to deliver a blend of timeless style and modern glamour, offering fans the opportunity to own pieces inspired by one of fashion’s most enduring icons.

The collection will be available on the Zara website and in selected stores worldwide starting November 30, as announced by Inditex. Fashion fans should mark this date to shop the collection.
