Ryan Gill is a Seattle-based artist and musician who has seen it all. He has been involved in the music business for the past 30 years and has some great stories to tell based on his experience.
A while back, Gill started doing just that with a series of webcomics TheOtherAss. In these comics, he presents the world of a “working musician” in a humorous way while creating super relatable content.
According to Gill, some of the stories he tells in the comics are based on his own experiences, as he played in a number of punk rock bands and had an opportunity to go through all stages of the process, including rehearsals, tours, recording and much more. Others are based on things he saw or the recurring situations that all musicians face at one point.
