After months of anticipation, Barbie is finally hitting the theatres this week, and Margot Robbie did a hell of a job promoting it. The Australian actress sent the internet into a frenzy with each of her promo outfits – many of which paid homage to some of the iconic retro looks from Barbie’s past.
Robbie ate and left no crumbs at each promo event she attended while promoting Barbie, giving us one of the most iconic press tours in modern film history. She worked closely with her stylist Andrew Mukamal to deliver a series of red carpet looks that pay homage to Barbie’s decades-long legacy, carefully curating each one from head to toe.
“We’re finding Barbie references from decades past and just doing it really for the big Barbie fans out there, people who are actually collecting those Barbies. We’re hoping to get them excited. We’re pairing Barbie references with great designers,” said Robbie.
Barbie has given us loads of viral moments off the red carpet, as well.
