Miguel Chevalier is a Mexico-born artist who uses digital tools and technology in order to create some of the most stunning experimental art installations you’ll see. His works are immersive, colorful, and aesthetically pleasing while aiming to be “insights into ourselves and our relationship with the world.”
Chevalier is considered a pioneer in digital art, as he has been using computers as a means of artistic expression almost exclusively since 1978. He finds inspiration in the history of art, taking its core values and translating them to the modern world with the help of technology.
His work is described as experimental and multidisciplinary, with Chevalier using LCD screens, 3D printers, laser cuts, holographic imagery, and various other forms to bring his artistic vision to life.
