Nana Qi’s Animal Illustrations Will Give You Cuteness Overload

Adorable animals make everything better, and seeing them on your Instagram feed is sometimes all it takes to brighten up your day. If you enjoy illustrations that perfectly capture the cuteness of your favorite animals, you have to check out the wildlife artist Nana Qi.

Qi is based in New England and she worked as a digital illustrator for several years before deciding to fully embrace her signature style and start the viral project Puffy Gator. About two years later, she has hundreds of illustrations and over 115,000 Instagram followers under her belt.

Qi’s illustrations are instantly recognizable thanks to their adorable, vivid style, and it’s no coincidence she mostly focuses on animals. On her official website, she explained that she found peace with animals growing up as a person of color, and that it’s now her goal to create art that comforts and heals.

This is not the only way she found to channel her love for animals. Over the years, Qi worked with the Smithsonian, was featured at natural history museums, and even joined forces with wildlife conservation groups such as the Jane Goodall Institute that share her vision for a better future of the animal world and our planet at large.
