It’s one thing to put all your life’s effort into becoming a pro artist in a medium that everyone knows about. It’s another to do it in something that you came up with on your own. Nicky Ripaldi didn’t want to follow the same path as other artists by becoming a painter, or musician, or graphic designer. She decided to follow her own unique journey by—as she states on Instagram bio—using “old bones of materials” to reincarnate them into new and unique pieces of art.
If you don’t quite understand what it is that she does, perhaps that’s what makes it so interesting. The one thing that matters is that you smile when you look at her work, and clearly that’s the case with her followers who have supported her journey every step of the way. She’s currently just under the 2,000-follower mark, but that number is steadily rising by the day.
Nicky also loves bringing other passions from her life into this one. For instance, she seems to have a deep love for retro video games, because she created an artwork of an old school GameBoy, as well as a necklace comprised of the monsters from PacMan.
Are you getting a kick out of Nicky’s incredible work? If so, do yourself a favor and follow her account on Instagram. What could be better than seeing a new artwork of hers every time she posts one?
