Reality TV fans were left stunned as Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover confirmed their breakup after three years of dating. The “Summer House” star and “Southern Charm” favorite announced their decision to part ways on December 30, 2024, marking the end of a relationship that had been a staple of Bravo’s crossover universe.
“I have so much love and respect for Craig. I think he is one of the best people I have ever met in my entire life. I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him and he truly will get the best because he is the best. But with that said, I think it was just the right decision for both of us moving forward in our lives and the direction in our lives that we didn’t force,” DeSorbo told fellow podcast host, Hannah Berner, according to People.
DeSorbo, co-host of the podcast Giggly Squad, hinted at the split during a recent episode, reflecting on the challenges of balancing personal growth with a public relationship. Conover, known for his pillow business Sewing Down South, has also been candid about the ups and downs of their romance in the past, particularly their long-distance dynamic, with Paige based in New York and Craig in Charleston.
But there was no pressure put on by the Bravo network to deny the rumors. Desorbo said that “the network has power, but they don’t have that much power,” according to USA Today. She said they “were still together” when rumors previously spread that they had broken up.
The couple first sparked dating rumors in 2021, which were later confirmed during the crossover filming of Winter House. Their chemistry quickly made them fan favorites, with viewers rooting for their love story despite occasional disagreements and differences in lifestyle.
Fans took to social media to express their reactions, with many offering support for the pair. Some noted that both stars had previously hinted at challenges in maintaining their relationship under the scrutiny of reality TV.
While Paige and Craig’s romantic chapter has closed, both are focusing on their respective careers. Paige remains active in the fashion world and podcasting, while Craig continues to expand his Sewing Down South brand and focus on Southern Charm.
