Ricard Lopez Iglesias is an illustrator based in Barcelona, Spain and he’s been pursuing art since the very start of his academic journey. After getting a degree in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, he graduated in animation and 3D art at the EASD Pau Gargallo in Barcelona and later got a degree in Graphic Arts at Escola Joso, where he pursued illustration while working on professional commissions.
Iglesias prides himself in being a multifaceted artist, and working on all sorts of different projects, from posters and book covers to children’s books and portraits.
“What I like most about my profession is to be able to change the style in each project, always maintaining a personal touch, which sometimes is diluted more, and sometimes less,” he explains on his official website.
Iglesias worked with many international clients over the years, but most people discovered him through his Instagram page @ricardilus, which is followed by over 80,000 people.
