Very pleased to announce that I had a very special collab with @mastercarduk for this Pride season. They tasked me with illustrating 5 different personal stories from employees, who have shared their ‘Priceless Pride’ moments and why #AcceptanceMatters to them. It’s a beautiful experience to listen and be able to share stories like these around. Everyone deserves to be heard and represented, which is what Pride is all about. Much love to my community out there ❤️ Say hello to Victoria… ❤️ “Pride means so many different things to everybody. My Priceless Pride moment has to be the fact that I'm thankful I can celebrate Pride with my wife, friends and family. I have marched through the streets of Leeds and London proud of how far we have come in terms of acceptance. 🧡 💛 Love is Love. We are fortunate that we can be ourselves in work, in life – we are lucky to live and work in an environment where it is safe to celebrate #acceptancematters.” 💚 In the lead up to @prideinlondon , @mastercarduk will be sharing and celebrating their staff, their stories and why #AcceptanceMatters 🏳️‍🌈🎉Thank you Victoria for sharing your story ❤️ 💙 💜 . . . #Pride #Pride2019 #Mastercard#LGBTQIA #queerart #artist#bornperfect #equalitymatters#creativepride #lesbian #gay#bisexual #trans #queer #folio#folioartists #folioart#startsomethingpriceless#mastercarduk #sarahmaxwellart#illustration #illustrator #art #artist#insta #instaart #instaartist#creative

“I try to take on work that has a story that I can relate to – especially if it has a spark and is really moving. It’s great to be the one to bring that story to life. These pieces are the ones I can look back on and be proud of”, the artist told for Communication Arts.

Maxwell says she always knew she wanted to be an illustrator, but she needed time to grow as an artist and create her authentic works. This is when she started sharing her art on social media.

“Shortly after growing a significant following, a lot of clients started approaching me, and that’s when it all began!”
