We all dream of a healthy relationship where we can be 100% ourselves, and Sarah Graley is lucky enough to have one. Her illustrations became a huge hit on Instagram after she started capturing cute moments from her relationship through a series of comics called Our Super Adventure.
The British illustrator attracted almost 700,000 Instagram followers since embarking on this adventure, and she’s showing no signs of stopping. They became such a huge hit that she published several comic collections, in addition to having an online shop and starting a podcast. She also went on to work on many other comics, with such clients as Marvel and Minecraft.
Graley doesn’t have to worry about running out of inspiration for her comics because they’re all inspired by her life with her fiancé Stef and their four cats.
“Because the comics are autobiographical, I’m constantly reaching for the nearest sketchbook to write something down so I don’t forget it! I end up with little collections of tiny scrappy versions of the comics which are always fun to look back on,” Graley told Bored Panda.
One of the best things about her comics is that they’re a team effort. Her fiancé Stef is her co-star and co-writer, and he often helps her do flat colors and lettering once she’s done drawing them.
