Many comic artists and illustrations found viral fame on Instagram thanks to their dark sense of humor and that also happens to be the case with See Bang Now. He’s taking this social media platform by storm with his hilarious comics, that explore both the good and bad sides of life.
The hit Instagram page @seebangnow is the brainchild of the comic book artist Bang Ong, who now has over 80,000 followers. He had a habit of turning to webcomics whenever he felt a little bit down and they made him feel better. He started drawing in the hope his comics will have the same effect on people.
Bang enjoys lightening up people’s days with his comics because real life can be quite depressing, but that’s not stopping him from exploring heavy subjects in a funny way.
“I started drawing to try and make people laugh, but somewhere along the way I started channeling some of my frustrations, sorrows, and meandering thoughts on mortality into my comics – and I guess some people liked that,” Bang told Bored Panda.
Bang’s Instagram page became a true sensation after his “Death and the Dog” comic went viral. It featured two of the themes he explores the most—death and dogs—but Bang also enjoys drawing cats, people, and other animals, dealing with the ups and downs of everyday life.
