The day is finally here! Super Bowl LIX kicks off later today, Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Football fans across the globe are gearing up for what promises to be an unforgettable showdown as the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles. According to ESPN, this exciting rematch of Super Bowl LVII will have the entire world watching as the two top teams battle for NFL supremacy, with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 PM Eastern Time.

AFC Champions

The Kansas City Chiefs enter the Super Bowl as the American Football Conference (AFC) champions, boasting a regular-season record of 15–2. Under the leadership of head coach Andy Reid, the Chiefs secured the top seed in the AFC, earning a first-round bye. The performance will be directed by Hamish Hamilton and produced by Jesse Collins, with creative direction from Lamar’s company, PGLang. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided by Matt Maxey, Alexis Kashar, and Howard Rosenblum.

In the United States, Fox will broadcast the game, with Spanish-language coverage available on Telemundo and Fox Deportes. The game will also be streamed on Tubi and NFL+. International viewers can watch the game on ITV1 or stream it via ITVX in the UK. The halftime show is scheduled to begin around 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

Tailgate Party Concert

The pre-game festivities will include a tailgate party concert headlined by Post Malone, sponsored by YouTube. Jon Batiste will perform the U.S. national anthem, with Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle performing “America the Beautiful” and Ledisi singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Stephanie Nogueras and Otis Jones IV will provide ASL interpretation for the pre-game performances.
