System of a Down announced a series of 2025 stadium shows across North America featuring special guests Deftones, Korn, and Avenged Sevenfold, as Billboard reported. The tour, set to begin in July, will see the iconic rock band joined by an all-star lineup featuring Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, and Deftones. This tour marks one of the most ambitious projects of the band’s career, promising an unforgettable experience for fans of heavy music.

The Live Nation-organized shows will include a performance at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, on August 28, where Korn will join the lineup. The tour will then head to Soldier Field in Chicago on August 31, featuring Avenged Sevenfold, before wrapping up at Rogers Centre in Toronto on September 3 with Deftones.

According to Blabbermouth, tickets will go on sale starting with an artist presale beginning Wednesday, December 11. Additional presales will be held throughout the week, culminating in the general public sale on Friday, December 13, at 12 p.m. local time via LiveNation.com.

As noted by Blabbermouth, the collaboration between these bands is particularly significant, with all four acts being pivotal in shaping the sound of alternative metal over the last two decades.

The tour also brings together long-time collaborators and genre leaders. Korn, another stalwart of the nu-metal scene, is co-headlining select dates.

Avenged Sevenfold is also set to join the lineup, bringing their dynamic mix of hard rock and heavy metal to the tour. Deftones, known for their genre-defying sound, will round out the bill, adding a layer of atmospheric intensity to the summer concerts.

Fans have already taken to social media to express their excitement, with many noting the rarity of seeing such a legendary lineup in one tour. System of a Down’s last major North American tour was in 2015, which makes this announcement even more significant for their loyal fanbase.

For those who can’t attend the shows in person, the bands have hinted at the possibility of select concerts being live-streamed. Full details, including opening acts and special guests for individual dates, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
