She has always been into art, but thanks to online tutorials, she managed to learn how to draw digitally. Hines gets inspiration from the things she is surrounded by. She has a list of observations and ideas, wrote down on her phone. Are they going to be transformed into art? Nobody knows, not even Hines.
“I think all of us — women, in particular — are under a huge amount of pressure to do and be everything to everyone. My art is my reaction to these pressures and expectations. It allows me to express my frustrations and anxieties out loud, and also laugh at them,” she said to Huffington Post.

]]>“I’ve been making and posting comics about my mental health struggles for a few years now, but they have always been three-panel, text-post strips without visuals,” the teacher told Bored Panda. “I’ve just never been able to draw. A few months ago, however, I started drawing anyway, just pen on paper, and have since made daily comics about everything from indecisiveness to issues with body-image.”
Perfectionism, insomnia, paranoia are just some of the topics he incorporates into his comics. Although, he isn’t a very talented artist, he has attracted almost 37 thousand admirers on his Instagram page who adore his work.
“I post a lot on Instagram and people have really responded,” he continued. “It’s been so nice. I’m filled with gratitude. I hope I can keep making things that resonate with people and that help them feel less alone.”

]]>“This series was never planned,” the artist shared with Bored Panda. “It started as just an experiment of this style of drawing out of curiosity. I sort of gradually found out that it was helping me as a remedy for my anxiety attacks. Then, whenever I was having an attack again, I started to draw. I drew what I feared and what gave me relief. I drew myself helping me!”
