Since dating Kelce, Swift’s NFL appearances have increased, as ESPN reported.
The Kansas City Chiefs secured the AFC’s No. 1 playoff seed by beating the Houston Texans 27-19 on Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium. Swift’s presence at the game was a testament to her commitment to Kelce, as she has attended several of his home games throughout the season. The last game she attended was the Chief’s November 10 game against the Denver Broncos.
Notably, she celebrated her 35th birthday on December 13 with Kelce, who left a team party early to be with her. Close friends and family attended the celebration including Kelce’s teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittney.
“Over 10 million people in the stands over the course of it, it’s pretty crazy,” Kelce said during his New Heights podcast about the tour finale. “Shoutout to everybody who was part of that show. Obviously it’s her music, it’s her tour, but that was a full production man, that thing. It was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people. But mostly because of Taylor!”
After the game, Swift shared a heartfelt moment with her mother and Donna Kelce, embracing them in a group hug to celebrate the Chiefs’ victory.
Swift’s attendance at the game garnered significant attention, with fans and media outlets highlighting her support for Kelce. Her presence has been credited with boosting viewership and bringing a fresh wave of enthusiasm to the NFL.
Swift finished her Eras Tour on December 8 with her last show in Vancouver.
