We know that soccer fans often take an extra step in order to profess their love for their club or national team. And it wasn’t any different at the ongoing 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
During the tournament, we had the opportunity to witness some impressive stunts, antics, and costumes from fans. But the thing that arguably captured the most attention was the mirror costumes that looked like they came out straight from some kind of a video game or sci-fi movie.
The costumes first came to prominence thanks to several viral clips on social media. One costume looked like Neymar Jr. from Brazil’s national team while the other was Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
It was later revealed that these costumes have been created by the Slovakia-based company Mask Busters. They do event production that includes offering one-of-a-kind costumes. Their TikTok profile offered a more detailed look at the soccer-inspired costumes.
As it turns out, Mask Busters have all sorts of other intriguing costumes created in the same manner. They include mythological creatures, animals, and much more. Check out a few of them below and get ready to be amazed.
