This Amazing Teacher Made Plush Toys Based on Kids’ Drawings

Teachers definitely don’t get enough credit for all the hard work they are doing. They provide kids with valuable education but also provide them with selfless love, care, and support. And more often than not, they are willing to go beyond their job description to make their students feel appreciated.

Twitter user Reid Parker recently shared a heartwarming story about his son’s teacher, who made sure her class had a memorable end of the school term. The anonymous teacher gifted each student a handmade plush toy that was based on the drawings they made.

According to Parker, the teacher has been doing this for a couple of years now. She even continued the tradition during lockdowns, dropping off the toys at children’s houses.

While the story recently became viral and these plush toys fascinated internet users, the teacher decided she wanted to remain anonymous. This is why Parker set up a GoFundMe campaign in order to help people show their appreciation and help the teacher with supplies. The campaign quickly reached its original goal of $5,000 AUD and is currently at $9,527 AUD, thanks to 367 donations.
