This Artist Creates Puffy 3D Art Using Special Pens

Artist Lupita Lupita recently surprised her social media followers with a unique type of art most of them haven’t seen before. She presented a series of drawings made with special pens that produce a magical puffy 3D effect.

Lupita Lupita shared several videos showing her making these unique artworks, and they are fantastic to watch. The artist first makes an outlier of the drawing using a black ink pen and then starts adding color with her special pens.

When the ink is applied to the paper, it gives the drawing a normal color pencil effect. But after a few seconds, the ink begins to dry and starts to puff up. Soon enough, the entire drawing is puffed up and looks like 3D art.

Lupita Lupita’s followers were amazed by these magical pens and soon started asking for the puffy versions of their favorite pop culture characters. The artist happily obliged, drawing puffy SpongeBob SquarePants, puffy Baby Yoda, and more.

As it turns out, everyone can try out these special pens used by Lupita Lupita. They are called Magic Puffy Pens (obviously) and come in six different colors. You are required to apply hair dryer heat to activate the puffy effect, but it is worth the hassle for the “magic” they produce.
