Diekmann is only 17 right now, and she’s completely self-taught. She fell in love with hairstyling at the age of six, but it quickly turned out that this was much more than a childhood hobby. Doing classic braids got boring after a while, and she started coming up with more advanced hairstyles as the years went by.
In addition to seeing it as a creative outlet, Diekmann enjoys hair-braiding because it’s relaxing. It allows her to block disturbing thoughts, find freedom and relief, and come up with even more amazing hairstyles along the way.
