Texas-born sculptor Hugh Hayden selects objects that are commonly connected with traditional family interiors like dining tables, picket fences, and other household items.
Hayden added some features like protruding spikes and branches, to make his wood creations unique and striking. The imperfections represent the present crisis caused by ruining the “opportunity, hope and familiar togetherness” that were initially the main goals.
His latest exhibition titled Border States, is currently on display at Lisson Gallery in New York City.
