TikTok Chef Bakes Weird Goods Using Vintage Recipes

As a lover of all things vintage, B. Dylan Hollis always enjoyed trying out old recipes from bygone eras. From intricate Victorian desserts to hearty Depression-era casseroles, he was always on the lookout for new and interesting dishes to try.

One day, Hollis decided to take his love of vintage cooking to the next level by sharing some of the recipes online. He started a TikTok account where he posts short baking videos using old-fashioned recipes.

He sometimes spends hours combing through cookbooks for the perfect dish. Like, for example, the Potato Chip Cookies recipe from 1976. You might not think potato candy sounds good, but Hollis is about to prove you wrong.

In one video he creates Potato Candy from a 1933 recipe, and he’s also tried everything from sweetcorn cookies to a pizza made with baked beans.
